- Task
- automate polite payment reminders without awkward phone calls, then offer the same to clients
- Result
- saved equivalent of ~3 weeks staff hours/year previously spent chasing (also framed as 21 days/year on phone/email); clients recovered £20,000 unpaid debts in 30 minutes; avoided hiring in-house credit controller
- Tools
- Chaser automated credit control (company-branded email tone, Payment Portal)
- partner program
- Setup
- connect accounting data → configure tone-of-voice reminder sequences from company email → stop manual chase calls → escalate overdue invoices to Chaser Collections when needed → introduce same stack to clients via partner program
Step-by-step setup guide + copy-paste prompt
Step-by-step setup
Step 1. Connect Xero or QuickBooks Online when you log in to Chaser.
Step 2. Write your schedule. Go to Manage → Schedules and set before-due and overdue reminders, sent from your own company email in your own tone.
Step 3. Add a payment link. Go to Manage → Payment Portal, connect Stripe or add bank details, and insert the link into your templates.
Step 4. Stop chase calls. Call only when a reminder schedule has finished without payment.
Step 5 (optional). Hand seriously overdue invoices to a collections service.
Copy-paste prompt
Rewrite these payment reminders so they sound like a friendly local accountant, not a debt collector. Keep invoice number, amount and {{link}}.
