Task
move from pure made-to-order to on-hand micro-stock without spreadsheet chaos across suppliers
Result
delivery times −43% (orders within ~2 days with micro stock); production costs −11% via supplier visibility; 10 hours/week saved on inventory reporting/order management; Prediko ingested history in ~30 minutes; team collaborating on forecasts within a day
Tools
  • Prediko (Shopify planning/purchasing AI)
  • 3 Shopify stores
  • supplier lead times/target days of cover/POs
Setup
  1. one-click connect Shopify stores → wait ~30 min for historical sales/revenue/product sync → configure supplier lead times, target days of cover, open POs → collaborate on AI sales forecasts and recommended purchase orders
Step-by-step setup guide + copy-paste prompt

Prerequisites

  • Shopify store(s).
  • Prediko installed from the Shopify App Store (14-day trial).

Step-by-step setup

Step 1. Connect Shopify. Install Prediko and authorize your store(s). Wait for historical sales/products to sync (their case: ~30 minutes).

Step 2. Add suppliers. Settings → Suppliers → Add Supplier → name, currency, address, Lead Time (days), MOQ. Or toggle Vendor sync so Shopify vendors import as suppliers (you still must set accurate lead times).

Step 3. Map SKUs to suppliers (automatic with vendor sync, or link vendors manually with sync off).

Step 4. Set days of cover / safety stock on the Buy Table (Columns → Lead Time / Days of Cover; bulk-edit selected SKUs).

Step 5. Create POs from AI recommendations. Buy Tab → select SKUs → Create draft order → adjust qty → Share (PDF/Excel/email to supplier). Collaborate on forecasts the same day the sync finishes.

Easier: let your AI do it

Claude's official Shopify connector (Customize → Connectors → Shopify) can help inspect products/inventory analytics; Prediko remains the planning/PO tool. Confirm writes in Claude before anything changes.

Copy-paste prompt

Given these supplier lead times and target days of cover: {{paste}}, list which SKUs look understocked vs overstocked and draft a PO rationale in plain English for a non-technical founder.
