Step-by-step setup guide + copy-paste prompt

Step-by-step setup

Step 1. Say who, what and where in code. Add LocalBusiness structured data (name, address, phone, hours, service area, services) to your homepage, following Google's LocalBusiness structured data guide. Check it with Google's Rich Results Test.

Step 2. Turn phone questions into FAQs. List the 11 questions you get asked most on the phone and answer each on a plain FAQ page in your own words.

Step 3. Publish one clear guide post (for example "How much do shutters cost in [town]?") with real prices, timelines and photos.

Step 4. Fix conflicts. Make sure your name, address, phone and hours match on your site, Google Business Profile and directories, and remove duplicate or broken markup.

Step 5. Check it. Ask ChatGPT and other AI tools "best [service] near [town]" monthly and note whether you appear.

Copy-paste prompt

Write LocalBusiness JSON-LD for {{business}}: address {{address}}, phone {{phone}}, hours {{hours}}, services {{list}}, area served {{towns}}. Then turn these 11 customer questions into short FAQ answers: {{questions}}
