Starter prompt from the guide (use it as a base):
I sell [PRODUCT TYPE] on Shopify and reorder from [NUMBER] suppliers. Here is my last PO sheet: [PASTE]. Turn it into a clean list with columns: supplier, SKU, lead time days, MOQ, typical order size. Flag anything that looks inconsistent. I'll upload it to Prediko's Import template, so keep the column names simple. Don't guess missing values; leave them blank.
First, ask me up to 5 questions about my business and tools. Then give me a beginner step-by-step setup plan, plus copy-paste prompts/templates I can use. Plain English, and tell me if any step needs a tech helper.

> Cost: Paid. Prediko starts at $49/month (Shopify billing, 14-day trial). Higher sales means a higher tier.
Honest note: this is forecasting and purchase-order software, not generative AI. The case is vendor-published. The time saved (4 hours a day of sheet work, 10 hours a week saved) is the owner's account. "In-stock rate up 50% and revenue doubled after the first PO" is the vendor's claim, and the same page also says "200% revenue boost on best sellers", so treat the revenue figures as unproven and measure your own.
Prerequisites
- A Shopify store with inventory tracking on.
- Your suppliers, their lead times and any minimum order quantities.
- Your existing purchase-order spreadsheet (optional) to import open POs.
Step-by-step setup
Step 1. Install. In the Shopify App Store find Prediko, install it, create your account, and enter your Stock Cover (days of stock you want on hand at delivery).
Step 2. Replace the sheets with suppliers in Prediko. Go to Settings → Suppliers → Add Supplier. Fill name, currency, Lead Time in days and Supplier Minimum Order (quantity or value), then add the SKUs they supply. Bulk option: Settings → Import, download the template, upload, validate, confirm.
Step 3. Bring in open POs. In Settings → Import → Purchase Orders, upload your existing PO sheet so incoming stock is counted and you don't double-order.
Step 4. Review recommendations. Open the Buy tab. The to buy column shows how many units to order to reach your Stock Cover at delivery, after netting current stock and incoming deliveries (hover the sparkles icon to see the math). Fix any SKU's Lead Time or Days of Cover from the Columns menu and the bulk bar.
Step 5. Create the PO. Tick the SKUs, click Create draft order, edit Units to Order if needed, and check the MOQ Met column (hover the info icon and use Scale to MOQ to lift quantities to the minimum). Click Create Draft Order, name the PO, then use Share to download a PDF/Excel or email the supplier. It shows in Orders as Draft.
Step 6. Track your in-stock rate yourself. Prediko doesn't give you a before/after for free. Note how many best sellers were out of stock this month, then compare after three POs.
What success looks like
A PO takes minutes, and you stop opening multi-tab sheets to decide what to order.
Common issues & fixes
- A SKU isn't in the Buy table: check inventory tracking in Shopify.
- MOQ warning: set the MOQ at the supplier level (Settings → Suppliers) and use Scale to MOQ.
- Supplier lead time change didn't update a SKU: a SKU-level lead time you set manually stays locked; reset it in the Buy table.
Optional: Maintenance
- Once a week, review SKUs at risk and place the next PO.
- Update lead times after each delivery.
