Review growth across three locations

Roofing company · reviews from 552 to 1,334 in a year

CostNiceJobVendor case study written with a contractor-marketing agency (large Alberta roofer, 3 locations): 552 → 1,334 reviews in a year (+142%). The company's own quote says 60%, so the figures disagree. It's a bigger business than most readers. NiceJob offers a free trial. Rule-based automation, not AI.

Step-by-step setup guide + copy-paste prompt

Needs a tech helper: this one can't be set up reliably without technical help. The notes below explain why, plus the simplest safe alternative.

Honest note: rule-based automation, not AI. The case study is from the vendor and an agency partner, and its own numbers differ (+142% in the text, "60%" in a quote). This is one of Alberta's largest roofers, so treat the size of the gain as a ceiling, not a typical result.

Prerequisites

  • A NiceJob account and a Google Business Profile for each location.
  • A list of recent customers with a mobile number or email.

Step-by-step setup

Step 1. Connect your job software. In NiceJob open Settings → Apps (app.nicejob.com/settings/product/apps) and click Connect beside your tool (QuickBooks, for example). Contacts sync, and invites go out after an invoice is created or paid. If you use another tool, a Zapier step can Enroll Contact in NiceJob.

Step 2. Set the campaign live. Campaigns → open the review campaign → Edit Campaign → edit messages, Add Step if needed → Save → Set Live. The default is one text plus up to three email reminders over 14 days, and customers drop out once they review.

Step 3. Share reviews automatically. The roofer used NiceJob's auto-share to social media. Turn this on in NiceJob's social settings. Menu names may differ slightly.

Step 4. Show your Google rating on the site. Add NiceJob's Engage widget to your website so visitors see your rating at once.

Step 5. Read the topics. The case used NiceJob's analytics and topic insights to see what customers praise or complain about. Check them monthly.
