Prerequisites
- A Markate account (field-service software) and a NiceJob account. A Google Business Profile.
Step-by-step setup
Step 1. Connect Markate to NiceJob. In Markate click More in the menu → Connectors → find NiceJob and toggle it ON → in the pop-up click Manage → sign in with your NiceJob credentials.
Step 2. Choose the trigger. In the Notify When section pick Invoice is marked as paid (the case study's choice) or Work order is marked as completed. Customers export to NiceJob automatically when that event happens.
Step 3. Import past customers (optional). Click Export to NiceJob to send existing customers, then use Export Log to check what went.
Step 4. Tune the campaign. In NiceJob go to Campaigns → open the review campaign → Edit Campaign → edit messages, Add Step if needed → Save → Set Live. Ask every customer; don't screen out unhappy ones.
Step 5. Show the reviews. The company also used NiceJob's Trust Badge, Engage widget and NiceJob Sites on its website to turn reviews into trust on the page.
Step 6. Check monthly. Count new Google reviews and average stars each month.
