Step-by-step setup
Step 1. Add your services. Web app: Settings → Services → + Add service, name, duration (and price). Assign yourself to each service, then Save. A service isn't bookable until someone is assigned.
Step 2. Set your hours. Set your working hours in your team profile so customers can only book your weekend slots. Setmore's "Your team" help article explains where hours are set.
Step 3. Set your booking link. Settings → Booking Page, click the pencil next to the Booking Page URL, enter a short name, Save, Yes Confirm. Share the link on social media, flyers and your voicemail.
Step 4. Turn on customer reminders. Settings → Notifications → Customer Notifications: tick booked, edited and canceled under Updates, then flip Email under Appointment reminders and pick the lead time (for example 1 day).
Step 5. Get reminders yourself. Settings → Notifications → Staff, turn on Reminders and set the lead time. Setmore also emails team members about new, rescheduled and canceled bookings. To get a copy of everything at a second address, use Settings → Notifications → CC Email.
Step 6. Install the app. Sign in on your phone. Under Account → Notifications → Push Notifications → Push Reminders turn on Turn On Reminder for phone alerts before each job.
Step 7. Check a real booking. Book yourself a test job from the public link, confirm you and the "customer" both get emails, then cancel it.
